Bird Be Safe: How it Works

The Bird Be Safe is a barrier to prevent Snakes from climbing poles or trees. It Works in several ways.

  1. The netting is too slick for the Snakes to climb. We make it 30” long so when they try to get a anchor point directly below the BBS, and leverage up to 50% of their body up, it is too far a distance and they fall.
  2. We make it double layered. So even with an anchor point, the top layer of netting slides and moves on the bottom layer of netting causing the Snake to fall.
  3. If the Snake attempts to climb the tree or pole beneath the BBS, he will be stopped at the top of the BBS by the main cable tie.
